Program Design

Kid for Life Fitness uses your child's unique abilities and level of fitness to design a program that will help them reach their specific fitness goals.

Considerations include:

Biological Age: A child's biological age is a more accurate indicator of physical potential that their calendar age.

Sensitive Periods: Times when the systems that determine abilities such as balance, coordination and speed are undergoing rapid development.

Gender: The pace of development of some abilities is not the same

for boys and girls.  Training for particular abilities often start earlier for girls.

Sports Participation: Program can be tailored to meet the demands of

a particular sport.

Personality:  Motivation, ambition, willingness to follow direction and other

traits have a definitive impact on the kind of training we design.

Your child's assessment includes:
  • Exercise history
  • Attitude towards exercise
  • Health history
  • BMI and Body fat percentage
  • Posture analysis
  • Nutrition
